Garrett Lenocker's Portfolio
Explore my mechanical engineering projects and experiences as well as my hobbies outside of engineering.
About Me
I'm a mechanical engineering student at California State University, Fullerton passionate about design, fabrication, and innovation. This portfolio showcases my projects, skills, and hobbies.
Projects
CSUF Baja SAE
Designed and 3D printed jigs to test front suspension kinematics before manufacturing.
Toyota Tacoma Camping Bed Conversion
Designed a camping bed insert for a Toyota Tacoma that has different storage spaces, and allows for a mattress or sleeping bag to be placed on top.
Solar Oven
Created an oven that uses energy from the sun to cook a biscuit.
Single-Axis Solar Tracker
Designed a solar tracker to keep a solar panel always angled towards the sun.
Dirt Bike Maintenance
I do the majority of work on my dirt bikes myself. I've rebuilt the top end of my engine, rebuilt carburetors, adjusted valve timing, and more.
1983 Porsche 944 Restoration
Restoring a 1983 Porsche 944 that has not run since the '90s.
Hobbies
Outside of engineering, I'm passionate about dirt bikes, videography, and photography. I decided to combine my love for all of them and now, if I'm not riding a dirt bike, I'm filming one, capturing motion and the energy of motorsports through my lens.
Videography
I film using my Sony FX30 and edit with Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects. I focus on action, color grading, and storytelling through motion.
Photography
I don't photograph as much as I would like to since my camera is made to focus on video, but here are a couple of photos I've captured.
